評審會后專家組一致原則同意橫山大明綠豆地理標志產品保護申請通過審核，按照有關程序進行公示、公告。
2020年7月20日，“橫山大明綠豆”已入選中歐地理標志首批保護清單。此次國家地理標志產品保護申請通過后，將進一步擴大“橫山大明綠豆”的知名度和影響力，對有效保護橫山大明綠豆的生產資源，乃至帶動農業增效、農民增收、從而促進地方經濟健康快速發展等方面具有深遠意義。
